4-H
4H is America’s largest youth development organization-empowering nearly six million young people with skills to lead for a lifetime. You may recall Plantation Acres Homeowners Association was discussing being able to offer 4H to our families but the concern was to have our own club we needed both adult and student volunteers. After working with the 4H Extension Office at the University of Florida we have made arrangements to be able to offer 4H to our resident families via two clubs located in Davie. Hooked on Nature - An archery club and Project Stable - A club for animal care. We support 4H because 4H-ers are 4X more likely to give back to their communities, 2X more likely to make healthier choices and 2X more likely to participate in Stem activities.
