An eligible John George Scholarship candidate is a student who is attending high school, college, or trade school:

  • Who is a dependent of a Plantation Acres resident who has paid their PAHA membership for the current year the scholarship is being issued.
  • Alternately is an active member of the PAHA Community Service Squad, with a minimum of 50 hours of accrued service by the application deadline, regardless of where they, their parent(s) or legal guardian live.

The winner(s) of the Scholarship will be announced at the monthly PAHA Member Meeting on May 20th, 2025. Candidates are to complete the application, answer all questions on their own, and must be the original authors of the essay. Only complete applications including essays, letters of recommendation, and all supporting material received via email by 11:59 PM on April 30th, 2025 will be considered by the PAHA Scholarship Committee .
